Kuikui Secondary gets 62-seater bus courtesy of NGCDF

Baringo North MP Joseph Makilap flags off the new bus that was bought using money from the NGCDF.

Song and dance marked the unveiling of a 62-seater bus for Kuikui Secondary School in Baringo North Sub-county of Baringo.

The elated multitude expressed gratitude to the area MP Joseph Makilap for fulfilling his promise to deliver the bus that is fully funded by the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NGCDF).

Chief Principal Fredrick Cheboiwo said the new development was a monumental step for the school since they have been struggling with inadequate infrastructure, and now they can shift their focus to other matters.

He acclaimed the MP for his key role in supporting the school to realize its objective and become a centre of excellence in the region.

Cheboiwo urged the students to reciprocate by posting good grades in this year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and retain the annual fanfare which has been a tradition after release of results.

Makilap lauded the Chief Principal for having the interests of the school at heart, saying his tenure has been marked by major achievements and thanking other stakeholders for their endless commitment to the school, which was incepted in 2011 as a rescue centre.
