The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has transferred several principals heading girls’ schools in the Rift Valley in a mini-reshuffle.
Education News has learnt that most of the changes were done between June and this month.
Those affected include the former AIC Kessup Girls Principal, Salinah Rotich who has moved to take charge of Tabagon Girls in Baringo County. At Kessup in neighbouring Elgeyo Marakwet County, Ms Rotich will be replaced by Susan Sawe who has been heading Ngeria Girls in Uasin Gishu County.
At Tabagon, Rotich takes over from namesake, Albina Rotich with the latter reporting at Mogotio Girls as the new head. On the other hand, Rotich will be replacing Irene Chemuren who has been posted to Kericho County’s Kaboson Girls in similar capacity.
Efforts to reach the TSC Rift Valley Regional Director, Alex Cheruiyot to shed more light on the changes were unsuccessful as his phone went unanswered.
