Reigning national soccer champions St Anthony through to semis in Trans Nzoia

Part of the action in a past match, St Anthony Kitale cruised to the semis on their way to defending their title.

Reigning national soccer champions St Anthony’s Boys Kitale are on course to defend it after seeing off Goseta Boys 2-1 for the semis in the ongoing Trans Nzoia secondary schools competitions.

The Solidarity Boys, who represented Kenya during last year’s East and Central Africa competitions in Kigali Rwanda, are facing SA Hilario at St Philip’sTuigoi.

SA Halario managed to secure the semi final ticket after securing a win against Njoro Boys 1-0.

In girls football, Rift Valley regional defending champions Wiyeta Girls humiliated Korongo 8-0 before engaging St Joseph’s Girls in a goalless encounter. Korongo was also handed a 0-7 thrashing by St Joseph’s Girls.

Anderson Girls proceeded to the semis after they beat St Andrews Baraton 1-0. Kwanza Girls also made to the semis after a win against Anderson with a score of 2-1. Kwanza Girls drew 0-0 with St Andrew Baraton.
