Kangema NG-CDF will sponsor 60 students through their secondary education after they were identified as most needy.
Through Kihungi na Masomo Sponsorship Programme, the 60 received a four year sponsorship initiated by Kangema MP Peter Kihungi.

Kihungi facilitates a mentorship programme for the students ahead of the schools opening next week.
The MP issued the learners with some personal effects after the mentorship session, as they prepare to resume learning next week.

“The students will enjoy a full 4 years scholarship in their secondary education. Kihungi na Masomo Programme aims at making education affordable to the less fortunate,” said Kihungi.
Earlier, the MP presided over a graduation for second Cohort of ICT trainees and 32 successfully trained football referees.

The referees, he said, are certified by Federation of Kenya Football (FKF), all fully sponsored by Kangema NG CDF.
“For the interests of sports my office is fully supportive of the youth programmes,” said Kihungi.
