Be good mentors of your children, Parents urged

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has urged parents to be good mentors of their children and also encourage them as they navigate through their academic journey

Speaking when he presided over the Kasarani School Education Day in Nairobi yesterday, Machogu stated that his Ministry will provide academic leadership that looks beyond personal immediate gains and considers the long-term impact on the next generation.

CS Ezekiel Machogu and Kasarani MP Ronald Karauri rewards teachers whose subjects showed improvement from the constituency in 2023 KCSE examinations.

“The government’s holistic approach of education not only ensures that the students an access education but also equips them the necessary skills and mindset to excel in life,” said Machogu.

On his part Kasarani MP Ronald Karauri stated that his NG-CDF office released more than Ksh60 million for Bursary Education Fund to facilitate the education of bright students who come from poor homes.
