Lugari Member of Parliament (MP) Nabii Nabwera has pledged to partially sponsor the first 100 entries at Mautuma Boys High School in the constituency.
Nabwera noted that the initiative is part of measures put in place during a stakeholder meeting he convened yesterday to revive the collapsing boys’ school.
The school has been experiencing challenges including low enrollment of students and poor academic standards.
The MP urged the community to cooperate with teachers and the Board of Management to revive the school.
The school received new Principal Jackson Muchomi last month and he is has been bestowed the uphill task of spearheading the school’s revival.
