Principal in Baringo refutes transfer claims

Senetwo Mixed Day Secondary School Principal Mr Isaac Yator.

Senetwo Mixed Day Secondary School Principal, Isaac Yator, has refuted claims that he has been transferred.

Speaking to Education News in his office, Yator said that he has not been served with a letter of transfer from the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

“I don’t know why some people have decided to transfer me to Tenges Boys High School, Oinobmoi Boys High School, Hurth Mixed Day Secondary School, Timboiwo Day Secondary and other unknown destinations,” he said.

He assured parents and students that he was still heading the school and that he will only leave when TSC moves him.

Senetwo has continuously performed well in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations since its inception in 2013 with thirty three candidates joining university qualifying for university admission after excelling in 2023 KCSE.

The school, located in Baringo Central, Baringo County, has a student population of over seven hundred students and a team of dedicated teachers from across the country.

Yator urged parents and guardians to pay fees on time to ensure their children attend to their studies uninterrupted.
