KUPPET (Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers) has thanked the government for the prompt release of capitation funds to schools in 2024.
Kisii County Executive Secretary Joseph Abincha said the release will save many head teachers headaches caused by debts.

“This will relief principals and give them ample time to administer their schools smoothly in 2024,” he said.
He was addressing more than 600 Kenyenya Sub-county Welfare Association members, where he also told parents not to take their children to distant schools as the local ones are equally good.
“Let our parents avoid these extra costs incurred in transportation as they take their children away from home schools, which even have better learning facilities,” he said.
