The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced the recruitment of officers to fill 13 important positions within its ranks.
Key among them is senior positions of director and Test Development and Manuscript Officer, which are some of the most crucial in carrying out its mandate as they will be tasked with ensuring security and confidentiality of all examination and assessment materials, and supervising and mentoring examinations officers.
For appointment as Director, the candidate must have at least 15 years cumulative relevant work experience, 5 of which should have been at senior management levels, in addition to Master’s Degree qualifications.
Other positions the Council seek to fill include: Deputy Director, Internal Auditor, Assistant Director, Information and Communication Technology Officer, Principal Information and Communication Technology Officer, and Principal Accountant.
Others are Principal Human Resource Management Officer, ICT Officer, Accountant, Legal Officer, Supply Chain Management Officer, and ICT and Account Assistant.
Interested persons have been given up to November 21, 2023 to apply.
