A school watchman in Kegogi sub-location, Kisii County is on the run after being caught pants down with a another man’s wife.
He was allegedly caught at his house after the man, who is a driver along Kisii -Keroka road came home in the evening and found the wife missing.
In the morning, after waiting all night long, he got word from the area Nyumba kumi that she was at the watchman’s house where he went and broke into, finding them in the compromising state.
The driver blew up in fury and beat his wife mercilessly into unconsciousness.
The area Chief Enock Nyakagwa was called by villagers who had restrained the angry driver but unfortunately, the watchman had already fled the scene.
The injured woman was rushed to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital where she is currently recovering.
The hospital Chief Executive Officer Enock Ondari said that she is responding well to treatment.
A Gender Violence and Prevention Studies lecturer Vena Magangi condemned the act, and appealed to the police to quicken investigations to ensure justice is served.
