The police have arrested three suspects in connection to the murder of June Jerop, a Kenyatta University student pursuing a master`s degree whose body was found dumped in Nairobi.
The suspects will aid police in investigations as they are in the process of putting together her last conversations, hangout joints and other persons of interest.
On March 20, pedestrians found the body near Jamhuri Primary School in Nairobi County. The late had left home for a coffee date with an unknown person.
According to her friends and family, her phone went off when she left the institution to meet her date at around 5 pm on March 17.
The family of the deceased, 36-year old, has more question than answers, like, what went wrong? Why she was killed? and who wanted her dead?
Jerop at the time of her demise was an accountant at the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) in Nairobi and an MBA student at Kenyatta University.
“We suspect she was killed on Sunday, and her body dumped on the roadside on Monday morning,” the deceased`s sister told the press.
According to the sister, Jerop was kind-hearted person and prior to her death the siblings, as a family were in the process of raising money for their ailing mother. The family is now left devastated on how events took a turn.
The family is demanding justice from authorities as they wait an autopsy to be conducted.
