Ranking of all West Pokot schools in 2022 KCSE

Majority of schools in West Pokot county registered an improvement in the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations with the most improved being St Daniel Comboni Kaptabuk which registered a positive deviation of a whopping 4.31 – from a mean score of 3.91 in 2021 KCSE to 8.22.

Chewoyet led the pack in the county with a mean of 8.31 followed by Kapenguria Boys with a mean of 8.23 which was closely followed by St Daniel Comboni Kaptabuk with a mean of 8.22.

Mtelo Girls came a distant fourth with a score 7.67 and Aslong Christian High school wrapped up the top five with a mean of 7.55.

The last school in the county was St Pauls Lomuke which managed a paltry 1.77

Overally, the county managed a mean of 6.6889, a positive deviation of 1.34.
