Kilifi North National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) has set aside Ksh 35 million towards the bursary kitty.
While speaking to Education News in Kilifi town, the constituency NGCDF Office Manager, Mr. Emmanuel Charo Yongo said that Ksh 17 million will soon be disbursed to bright but needy secondary school in the first phase.
He asked parents to come forth and apply for the bursaries to enable their children to advance their education.
Mr. Yongo said that the Constituency has prioritized the education sector and added that no bright secondary school student in the constituency will stay at home due to lack of school fees.
“Education is the only key factor towards success in any undertaking in the developing world,” he noted.
