The Teachers Service commission (TSC) has instructed Nyanza region County Directors to release their Sub-County Directors for a training on Safeguards for the same in line with implementation of sub component 1.1 and 1.2 of the Secondary Education Quality Improvement Project (SEQIP).
In a memo dated October 18, 2022 seen by Education News and copied to all Nyanza region County Directors, the Nyanza TSC Regional Director, Stephen Ajanga stated that the programme, which is non-residential, shall run from 24th to 28th October, 2022 at ARC, Egerton University.
“This is therefore to request you to release TSC Sub County Directors for the workshop,” reads the memo in part.
The training aims to ensure provision of quality and inclusive education as a fundamental right.
Ajanga further directed the County Directors to ensure that all TSC Sub County Directors get to participate in the programme.
