For the remaining one month to the KCSE examinations, candidates at Bukhaywa Secondary School in Kakamega County have embarked on intensive revision to ensure they attain exemplary performance.

Speaking in his office, the school principal Michael Amukowa has said that candidates are all set in order to achieve a target mean of 5.8 in KCSE this year.

Amuowa said the candidates are fully prepared with revision papers and have no time of wasting instead, want to complete the forthcoming examination and move to the next level.

The principal who is also the Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (KESHA) Chairperson said although the term is too short, his teachers have already completed the syllabus.

The principal urged candidates with fee arrears to complete payments to avoid being sent home.

He challenged parents that government capitation fund only goes to infrastructure but not payment of fees.

He urged parents to pay lunch fees of sh. 9,000 per year and support school management programmes.
