Bungoma County commissioner Samuel Kimiti has assured both residents and participants of their safety ahead of the sports event that will see all universities in Kenya converge in Kibabii University.
The event that is sponsored by Kenya University Sports Federation (KUSF) in conjunction with Kibabii University will commence on 18th Dec and end on 21st December 2021.
On his part, the Kibabii University Vice Chancellor Prof. Ipara Odeo said that the games and sports activity will give greater avenues where students from the entire nation will converge to share new ideas in the world of sports and nurture talents.
“This is the right time where students will be given time to share new ideas in the field of sports, through this wonderful sporting activity many will realize their talents and rise to the higher levels,” he said.
The theme of this year’s sports event at Kibabii University in their Bungoma main campus is “Nurturing talents for livelihood and sustainability through sports”
