The school opened its doors to students at the new state of the art facilities in Tatu City in Nairobi, Kenya on 4 September 2018. Crawford International School is aligned with Crawford Schools that has been a proud leader in progressive and high-end private education in South Africa since 1993.

The school’s curriculum is based on a progressive educational approach which prepares children for the 21st century and allows for development of the global competencies such as global citizenship, communication skills, entrepreneurial thinking skills, collaboration and environmental awareness required of this century’s students.

The school has become a fully registered centre for the Universities and Colleges Admission Service (UCAS). Individuals who are interested in studying in the UK can apply for admission through this centralized service.

Jenny Coetzee, the Managing Director of Crawford International School explains, “The UK higher education system is renowned for its academic excellence. The academic year (2021/2022) is a monumental period for Crawford International School as we pioneer our A Levels (Year 13). Students tend to have a lot of choices after year 13 which may include further education, apprenticeships, or going into the world of work”.

“Crawford’s participation in the UCAS centralized admissions service is an added advantage for our students who would like to further their education in universities in the UK as they offer respected and internationally recognized qualifications across a broad range of subjects”.

“UCAS ensures that applicants for university admissions are fair and transparent and manages interaction with schools and colleges and qualification awarding organizations. UK education is globally recognized by employers, universities, and governments, making it a popular choice for international students”, concluded Jenny Coetzee.
