Kianjeru Primary School teacher has died after the school’s bus was involved in an accident on Monday in Kangoro area in Chuka. Students who were in the bus were injured.
Alex Mugambi, the head of the region’s rescue squad said the driver had ‘given lift’ to some students from a nearby secondary school while on his way to pick up school children from Chuka town when the accident occurred.
According to the witnesses, the bus appeared to have lost control before rolling off the road and down a slope.
The injured students are being treated at Chuka General Hospital, while the driver who had a cut on his foot was treated and discharged from the hospital along several other students.
