Parents and Students of Riambase Secondary school in Kisii county are in shock after learning about the death of their principal.
The late Solomon Adeyo died on Friday morning at Hema Hospital in Kisii County from suspected Covid-19 complications.
According to the Hospital’s authority, the principal complained of chest pains and complications in breathing.
The hospital report indicated that he died of the coronavirus disease related symptoms.
He was posted to the school about one and half years ago during the national delocalization programme from Kibuon Secondary school in Migori County.
Parents said he improveded both academic exellence and extra -curriculum activities during his short stint at the school.
Kisii County KUPPET Executive Secretary Joseph Amincha was among those who mourned the Principal.
His death comes barely a fortnight after another Principal the late Peter Maina of Rakwaro Secondary school in Kisumu county died of COVID19.
He was burried at his buried at his Nyamakorobo home in KIsii County .
Kisii County Director of Education Pius Ngoma termed the untimely deaths a big blow to the community and the teaching fraternity.
