Police officers in Webuye town have arrested over 21 teenagers at an alcohol-filled party.
Speaking to Education News, Webuye OCPD Valerian Obore said they stormed the hotel after receiving a tip-off from a concerned citizen. Obore, however, noted that some of the teenagers escaped arrest.
”I am going to ensure that those who escaped arrest are arrested and arraigned,” he affirmed.
He added that the police recovered some bottles of wines, used condoms, bhang and alcohol.
Obore urged hotel owners to be careful while leasing hotels.
The incident comes barely a few days after six girls went missing from their homes in Nairobi’s Komarock estate only to surface days later and claim they were bored at home and decided to have some fun.
