2025 Kenyan Secondary School football season wraps up leaving indelible mark after thrilling action

The 2025 Kenyan Secondary School Football Season has officially come to a close, marking the end of months of electrifying action, raw talent, and unforgettable moments across the country.

From local grounds to national stages, the season brought together thousands of young players who showcased their skills, resilience, and passion for the beautiful game.

This year’s football calendar featured four major tournaments that dominated the youth football scene — the Super 8 Tournament, the Kariobangi Sharks Elite Cup, the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) championships, Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) and the Nastic Sports Talent Search.

The Super 8 Tournament stood out for its competitive energy and large fan turnout, providing thrilling encounters between traditional giants and new challengers.

The Kariobangi Sharks Elite Cup impressed with its high level of technical play and focus on nurturing disciplined, tactically aware players.

The focus has now shifted to the 2026 sporting calendar where the schools hope to improve their performances and the reach the highest level of competition.
