Youth told to embrace technical skills

Youths in Molo Sub County have been urged to embrace TVET related courses to equip themselves with technical skills that can make them job creators.

The Principal of Molo Vocational Training Centre, Nicholas Koech, said that TVET related courses employ thousands of youths and it is good for youths in Molo Sub County to embrace it to make them self-reliant economically.

“TVET is the answer to many challenges affecting our society especially in Molo Sub County where some youths should know the benefits that they will get by equipping themselves with technical knowledge and skills,” said Mr. Koech.

Koech who was speaking in Molo Town said that hundreds of Kenyans who have acquired Technical knowledge have been empowered and become self-sustainable citizens who are economically stable.

“TVET is about equipping young people, if our youth in Molo will embrace TVET education, this Sub County will reduce unemployment rates and bring about economic stability,” added Mr. Koech.

As a TVET expert, he encouraged the youth to love technical institutions because it majorly equips them with the current needs of a society and more skills nurtures them to create self-employment.

“We have witness the successful stories of many youths who pass through technical institutions,” said Koech
