World Vision donates over 200 tables to ECDE centre in West Pokot

In the effort aimed at ensuring that learners learn with ease, the World Vision under the initiative “Kenya Big Dream” has donated over 200 tables to Lokarkar Pre-Primary School which is in Masol Ward of Sigor Constituency.

Speaking during the event to receive the long awaited donation, the West Pokot ECDE Director, Joseph Tonyirwo, thanked World Vision fraternity for thinking deeply about the young learners who have been having difficulty with writing.

He said that effective learning is greatly determined by the ability to get proper sitting and writing abilities which consequently gives the teachers ample time to teach and interact with learners.

On his side, the director donated reading and writing materials on behalf of West Pokot County Government to the ECDE centre.
