Following high cases of pregnancy in Makueni County, Woman Representative Rose Museo has pledged to provide pedophilic men with lessons on how to seduce women of their age so they stop preying on and impregnating school girls.
“Whenever you see a man impregnating a school girl, just know that’s a coward who can never face a woman of his age and win her through words and actions,” said Museo.
Speaking at Mukuyuni Market, Museo said it was a pity that Makueni was ranked among the top counties with the highest pregnancy cases nationwide.
She added that it was a pity to see young girls sitting for exams in hospital immediately after undergoing labor pains.
“We understand the pain and any man who is making a school girl undergo that agony is just a cursed man. We will come for you,” said Museo.
She called upon parents to take care of their daughter during this long holiday and be close to them so that they can open up in case they have any issues.
During Jamhuri Day celebrations, Makueni County Commissioner Beverly Opwora announced that 43 candidates either sat for their national examinations while pregnant, after giving birth and breastfeeding or while in hospital.
The Commissioner revealed that there were 32 defilement cases reported from October up to December.
