The Woman Representative of Uasin Gishu Gladys Boss Sholei has donated sanitary towels, foodstuff, and reading glasses Kipkaren Primary School through her Gladys Boss Foundation.

She also provided a nutritious porridge meal and fortified rice, packed with essential nutrients and vitamins, ensuring that the students receive a well-rounded diet that can sustain them throughout the day, promoting their overall health.

In addition, Sholei emphasized the importance of this endeavor, stating that this is the first school to benefit from their efforts.

“The foundation’s goal is to expand this support to other schools, especially those in disadvantaged areas, to ensure that no child is forced to stay home due to a lack of sanitary towels or food,” she emphasized.

Furthermore, Gladys Boss Sholei’s foundation conducted a medical camp offering eye tests for students in primary and secondary schools.

“This intervention is crucial, as many students struggle academically due to undiagnosed vision problems. In Kipkaren Primary School, 27 students received reading glasses, with others scheduled for cataract surgery next month,” Sholei highlighted.
