Union urged to stop spreading conspiracies surrounding the Covid vaccines

A section of Kakamega North KNUT officials have been asked to stop misleading the public against going for Covid-19 vaccines in the exercise that is taking place across the country.

The Kenya Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) Director Dr. Ronald Inyangala defended the vaccination exercise saying that the jab had passed tests and hence fit for human consumption contrary to the union’s reports that the vaccines were being dumped into the country to be tested on unsuspecting Kenyans.

The director stood ground and told off the Kakamega North Assistant Executive Secretary Silas Sasala who alleged that the medical fraternity in the country was unable to come up with their own antidote for Kenyans.

The vocal union official called on Kenyans to reject being used as sample tests and instead challenged the medical experts in the country to prove their worth by making their own Kenyan vaccine.

“I want to caution our parents to be more vigilant in the upbringing of their children as the disease was spreading faster and causing unnecessary death, and that last thing we want is to see our teachers and pupils being used to test different types of vaccines that have flooded our hospitals,” said the Sasala.

Dr. Inyangala responding to the allegations said the board has certified that the vaccines being supplied in the country were safe and the ones being used globally.

“The available vaccines and are safe for use, let us not create fear and anxiety among the public as the Ministry of Health continue to urge Kenyans to go for the jab to prevent more infections. As the Director OF PPB I assure you that the vaccines are okay and I still urge Kenyans who have taken the two doses to go for the booster,” he reassured.

The director also cautioned Malava MP Malulu Injendi to stop taking credit by claiming that he bought three school buses worth Sh19.5 million yet it was the Malava DCF office which purchased them.
