The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) has advertised the position of Chairperson for its Board of Directors, following the upcoming vacancy left by Prof Florence Ngesa Indede.
Interested applicants are required to submit their applications by Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
Applications can be emailed to selectionpanel@tveta.go.ke or delivered in person to the Director General’s office, Utalii House, 8th floor.
In an advertisement published in local dailies, TVETA specifies that applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognized in Kenya.
Additionally, candidates should have over 15 years of proven knowledge and experience in areas related to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), legal matters, and financial management.

Applicants should also have held a senior management position, at the level of Assistant Director in the civil service or its equivalent in either the public or private sector, for no less than five years.
The Chairperson will serve a term of up to four years, with the possibility of reappointment for one additional term.
The names of applicants and shortlisted candidates will be published on the TVETA website by April 15, 2025.
