The TVET Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (TVET CDACC) has set important deadlines and procedures for the ongoing July/August 2025 assessment series.
The directives, dated August 7, 2025, are addressed to principals of national polytechnics, technical and vocational training institutes and private colleges. They also target vice chancellors of universities implementing the Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) system and managers of vocational training centers.
Institutions must clear all outstanding assessment fees by August 22, 2025. The council states that this payment is essential for the marking and processing of results, making financial compliance a requirement for releasing outcomes.
For institutions with candidates mistakenly registered in both Cycle 01 and Cycle 02, corrections must be made through a provided Google Forms link by August 13, 2025. No further corrections will be accepted after that date.

Late registration for Cycle 03 has closed. Candidates who missed the July/August 2025 assessments will now register for the November/December 2025 series. The council reminded institutions that the modularized curriculum involves continuous assessment, combining both formative and summative evaluations.
Assessment centers have until August 15, 2025, to enter practical and continuous assessment marks for Cycle 01, Cycle 02 and Cycle 03 into the online portal. This step is vital to complete the evaluation process.
Institutions can now begin creating candidate profiles for the November/December 2025 assessment series. Early preparation is expected to prevent last minute delays and ensure a smooth start to the next cycle.
The deadlines are designed to maintain efficiency, order, and compliance in the assessment process while upholding the standards of the CBET framework.
