TSC to hire 757 PTMO, CSO officers to boost teacher management

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has invited applicants to fill 757 positions for Principal Teacher Management Officers (PTMO) and Curriculum Support Officers (CSO).

“The Commission invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the positions of PTMO and CSOs,” the Commission noted in an advert.

TSC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Nancy Macharia, in an advertisement seen by Education News, said the Commission is seeking 92 PTMOs, TSC job grade 7.

Other vacant posts include 286 CSO II for regular schools, job grade C5, TSC scale 10; 295 CSO II for Special Needs Education, job grade C5, TSC scale 10 and 84 CSO I for regular schools, job grade D1, TSC scale 11.

During the interview, candidates will be required to produce original documents of their National Identity Cards, academic and professional certificates, and appointment and designation letter to the current grade.

“Candidates who will be successful in the interviews will be required to present valid documents of Chapter 6 of the Constitution before they are considered for appointment,” Dr. Macharia added.

Additionally, those who had submitted their applications earlier are advised to re-apply, with a master’s degree in Education from a recognized institution being an added advantage.

Interested candidates have until August 1 at 5.00 pm to apply.
