TSC simplifies TPAD2 system

By Hillary Muhalya

The new Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development (TPAD2) system is a win-win formula that teachers have been complaining about but through mutual understanding, the Teachers’ Service Commission has come up with a simplified system that gives all the panoramic view of all learning institutions.

Speaking to the press in Kapenguria, TSC County Director Mr. Geoffrey Chemos asked teachers to embrace the new system since it has completely simplified the process of school administration.

He further asked teachers to embrace change positively and reminded them that this is a dynamic world.

“My office will make immediate follow up to ensure that the process is fully embraced,” said Mr. Chemos.

According to the ICT specialist Mr. Kipkoech Kiprotich, all the trainees are fully equipped with adequate knowledge to partake noble practices but appealed to all the administrators to consult all the time they noticed any difficulty. He reminded them that the process does not allow skipping of any step since all steps are inter-linked.

On his side, the officer in charge of the rigorous programme, Mr Neilson Musani asked the teachers to open their minds to accommodate change.

Speaking to the press, a trainee called Samuel Poighisio from Talau Primary School confirmed that the training came at the right time.

“I thank the Commission for rolling out such a vital progamme,” said Phoghisio.
