TSC replaces head teachers in Central as they retire from service

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is replacing retiring primary and secondary schools head teachers in the Central region.

Already, names of the proposed replacement to head the schools have been notified and directed to collect their deployment letters from their county offices.

Across the counties of Laikipia, Nyeri, Murang’a, Kirinyaga by June 30, several heads retired from services, with the employer working on replacing them.

In Murang’a County, the Commission has posted Principals to Ruchu Girls and Weithaga Boys High School in Kandara and Kiharu constituencies respectively.

Ruchu Girls Principal Esther Kariuki retired and was replaced with Margaret Mutaga from Ng’araria Girls High.

Peter Gitu from Delmonte Secondary School has been deployed to take charge at Koimbi Boys High in Kiharu.

At Koimbi, F M Gakuo will be heading to Weithaga Boys High to take over from Peter Muchina who retired on June 30.

Several other heads affirmed having been alerted by the TSC on their deployment.
