The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has transferred Litein Boys High School chief principal Richard Sang to Baringo Teachers Training College, following a turbulent period at the institution that saw students stage a strike earlier this term, leading to significant disruption and losses.
Mr. Sang’s reassignment marks the end of his tenure at the school as education authorities move to restore order and stability at the once‑top performing institution. The decision comes amid calls from stakeholders to insulate schools from external interference, with political leaders urged to allow administrators to manage learning environments without undue influence.
Taking over at Litein Boys is Dr. Aggrey Ochieng Komolo, formerly principal of Kapcheplanga Secondary School. Dr. Komolo is expected to guide the school through a recovery phase, rebuild confidence among learners and staff, and re‑establish discipline and academic focus in the wake of recent unrest.
