Boda boda operators have been cautioned against carrying excess passengers in order to avoid many roads accidents.

Mogonga town Chairman Charles Mireri said most of the boda boda riders carry up to four passengers against the capacity of a common motor circle and this leads to accidents that could avoided.

The Chairman was speaking at Mogonga-Igare road junction where a boda boda carrying a teacher from school last Thursday evening was involved in head on collision with another boda boda carrying three people.

According to eye witness, the one carrying three passengers hit the teacher with his driver and the impact sent them to the ditch from where they were picked by good samaritans.
