Form Four leavers who did not qualify for university admission in the 2024 KCSE examination have been encouraged to join Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions across the country.
Kangundo Assistant County Commissioner Susan Nyamosi said youths should join the technical and vocational institutions to gain future-ready skills.
He added that Form Four graduates should not lose hope but take advantage of the low cost of training in the institutes to enroll for various courses.
‘’I am asking parents whose children did not qualify for university to enroll in technical training institutes,’’ she said.

She spoke on Friday January 17 at the Caring Hearts Boys High School grounds in Kangundo Sub- county, where she presided over the awards presentation ceremony for students who performed well in KCSE last year.
Nyamosi also asked students to work hard to become future leaders.
The students were rewarded with laptops and cash during the ceremony.
The school was number one in Machakos County in the last year KCSE.
