Students’ president urges parents to be role models

Parent should shape morals of their children rather than leaving the responsibility to others.
The President of Siaya County Secondary Schools’ student leadership Council Brian Maxwell urged parents to hasten and take up their active role and get more concerned with the welfare of their children.
He said most students were taking the wrong direction for lack of role models. He urged his fellow students to shun indiscipline saying it will ruin their lives.
Maxwell who was recently elected the county’s students president is a student at Chianda High School.
