Sotik MP vows to boost education, pledges fast-tracking of TTI projects

Sotik Member of Parliament Francis Sigei has reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing academic standards in the constituency, terming education as the key equalizer in society.

Sigei said his leadership has significantly increased allocations toward education, enabling the construction of new classrooms and refurbishment of existing ones across the constituency.

“The improved infrastructure, fully funded through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund, will provide a better learning environment and allow our students to reach their full potential,” he said.

Speaking during a tour of various schools in the area, the law maker also pledged to fast-track the completion of the Sotik Technical Training Institute (TTI), stating that the facility will play a critical role in equipping local youth with skills to become job creators.

During his visit to Sotik TTI, the MP held discussions with the institution’s management and students, and inspected the proposed site for the construction of 580 hostel units aimed at improving student welfare.

He emphasized that improving access to quality education and training remains a top priority for his office, and assured continued support for educational development in Sotik.
