Former KNUT Secretary-General Wilson Sossion has stirred speculation among teachers’ union members, declaring himself “the most loyal member” and confirming that his subscription is active until 2026.

Speaking in an interview at a local media station, Sossion left many guessing about his future role in the union, signaling that significant developments may be on the horizon.

When asked by a television presenter whether he plans to vie for the KNUT Secretary-General position, Sossion was deliberately vague: “Things will unfold after Christmas.”

The cryptic statement has fueled speculation that leadership shifts are imminent and that Sossion may be positioning himself for a possible return to the union’s top office.

Indimuli noted that the matter is already in the public domain and deserves discussion.

Even KNUT Secretary-General Collins Oyuu weighed in during the interview, echoing that the issues are in the spotlight and advising teachers not to entertain Sossion’s candidacy prematurely.

Oyuu stressed that premature political alignments within the union could undermine cohesion and distract from ongoing initiatives aimed at improving teachers’ welfare.

During the interview, Sossion at one point advised Indimuli to refrain from probing too deeply into sensitive topics.

However, the presenter insisted that the matters were already public knowledge and warranted discussion.

The teachers and union observers are now keenly awaiting to see how loyalty, leadership ambitions, and internal alliances will unfold in the weeks ahead.
