There was song and dance at Nyakoiba Village in Bomachoge Chache Constituency the appointment of their own as UN peace Ambassador.
The appointment of Job Nyangenya Omanga to the prestigious position has been viewed as God given by the elated kinsmen.
“He has worked for it and God has seen it better to reward those who fear and serve his people with love.” They said in awe.
The young Kenyan politician has been advocating for the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) in Africa quickly preferably before 2030.
He was honored by the UN for promoting peace in Kenya and East Africa.
The Kenyan politician vied for the Bomachoge Chache Parliamentary seat unsuccessfully last year but continued to discharge his global philanthropic work with an emphasis on Africa.
Back at home, he has been working in community uplifting that range from the provision of free computers to secondary schools to wheelchairs for people with disability.
He is on record for sponsoring free medical camps in Kisii County and its neighboring Counties like Nyamira
One of the Abagusii Council of Elders Harrison Moronya said the appointment was a great honor to Kenya, especially at this time when it needs strong and honest arbitrators between President William Ruto and the opposition leader Raila Odinga.
The appointment of Nyangenya by the UN entails making strong statements pertaining to peace in the rest of Africa.
Job Nyangenya was born in a humble family at Nyakoiba Village of Ibencho Division in Bomachoge Chache Constituency of Kisii County.
After his primary school education, he joined Riokindo High School where he successfully qualified to join the University of Nairobi.
According to the records at Riokindo High School, Nyangenya was a disciplined Prefect and leader in the Christian Union group.
He proceeded to the United States of America where he has been working as a medic and humanitarian advocate for the last two decades.
His appointment to the position could be a harbinger of great things to come to the young and zealous humanitarian Kenyan.
