Shock and disbelief engulfed residents of Igembe North Sub County after a KCPE candidate at Lucuiti Primary School died after being hit by a colleague.
Meru County Director of Education Milton Nzioka said the unfortunate incidence happened after the deceased candidate had a confrontation with his fellow learner which resulted to a fight.
“It was a fight, differences between the two that led to a confrontation,” Nzioka noted
Sources said that the fallen candidate was hit with a stone by his fellow mate.
The source said the two were playing a game together before it turned violent leading to the deceased being assaulted.
The suspect fled immediately after the incident and police have launched a man hunt for him.
