Shinyalu MP unveils computer lab in Mukhonje Secondary

Shinyalu Constituency MP Fred Ikana has unveiled a state-of-the-art computer lab at Mukhonje Secondary School.

This project was realized through a collaborative effort with Safaricom Foundation, local friends and community stakeholders, illustrating the power of partnership in driving positive change.

The newly established lab is equipped with modern computers and high-speed internet access, marking a significant advancement in the educational resources available to students in the school.

“This facility is not just about technology; it represents a gateway to dignified employment opportunities as we are laying down the foundation for our students to thrive in a digital economy,” The MP stated in a statement.

The legislator envisioned a broader initiative by the national government to improve connectivity across all wards in the constituency.

He said plans were already underway to establish additional computer labs in other schools and community centres, ensuring that even more residents can benefit from this digital revolution.
