Twenty four years since a lawyer raised alarm over land grabbing in Garissa High, the school is yet to get its land back.
In 1994 nine commercial plots were hived out the school land by private developers.
Despite the school principal then Ahmed Abdikadir, now vice chancellor of Garissa University, fighting the alleged illegal allocation to individuals, the land is yet to come under school ownership.
Parents and student from the school have vowed to ensure the land is returned back.
A parent Abdikhani Ibrahim said they wondered how development of the plots was done with the approval of relevant government agencies and yet the school owned the land.
