School Principals in South Kinangop urged to maintain integrity during examinations

South Kinangop Sub County Director of Education Peter Njuguna has told school principals to maintain high standards of integrity during the national examination process.

Njunguna said students should be well prepared by teachers in order to handle examinations with confidence.

The Director who was speaking during Heni Secondary School prize-giving day, said integrity must be upheld to ensure that after KCSE students perform well in various Universities.

Njuguna also used the opportunity to thank all school heads in South Kinangop Sub County for conducting themselves with high standards of integrity during the 2022 KCSE Examinations.

“We thank all the school heads for ensuring we maintain high standards of integrity during KCSE so that all of our students have their genuine results”, said Njugina.

Njuguna also encouraged parents to ensure their children maintain high standards of discipline while at home and school.

“Discipline is an important factor in contributing to students’ performance, parents should assist teachers in maintaining the students’ discipline”, said South the Director.

He also congratulated schools which performed well in the 2022 KCSE as he urged them to continue providing good results.

Njuguna encouraged schools which did not perform well to benchmark with other schools so that they can put essential strategies in place to boost their standards of education.

Speaking at the same event South Kinangop KESSHA Chairman thanked the Ministry of Education and TSC for their continuous support to secondary schools in the Sub County which have assisted the majority of them to improve their academic grades.

He encourages School BOMs to support teachers and help schools in South Kinangop to attain 100 per cent transition to university.
