School-leavers have been urged to embrace Technical and Vocational Education to gain skills that will enable them get employment or establish job for their survival.
This was said by Lukas Omari a former high school Principal who told school and University leavers not to despise the vocational courses but use them to train and strengthen their high school certificates and degrees to enable them compete and fit in the competitive world job market.
“Technical Education is very essential in the modern world of technology where research and innovation are in the high demand.” He said.

Omari was speaking at Itongo village in Magenche Ward of Bomachonge Borabu Constituency when he consoled the family of the late Daniel Ochego Ombaso who died after a short illness.
He eulogized Ochego as a focused educator who embraced Technical education in the early years and established many local Technical institutes to empower many youths in the community.
