Kericho County Quality Assurance Officer in the Ministry of Education (MoE) Joseph Ochieng has backed the school bursars to embrace technology in performing their duties.
Ochieng while speaking today in Kisumu during the closing of a five-day workshop organized for bursars from Kericho County revealed that they play an integral role in learning institutions’ financial sector, hence the need for them to be Information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliant.
“School bursars are the backbone of institutions in financial matters, with the change of the world in terms of technology there is need for them to be ICT compliant,” he said.
