Kajiado County has released bursary and scholarship funds amounting to KSh80 million for schools’ first term.
Governor Joseph Ole Lenku said they are determined to ensure they support education of majority of students as they enter a new level of education.
Lenku also graced the induction of 100 new Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) teachers at the Maasai Polytechnic whom the county recently employed on permanent and pensionable basis.

The new cohort aims to address the pressing issue of teacher shortages in schools, a critical factor in improving education standards across our county.
Schools across Kenya reopened on Monday for the first term of the 2025 academic year after a two-month holiday.
