Morning fire razed down a school dormitory at Samitsi boys High school in Malava Sub County while students were at the Assembly.
According to the school’s principal Dan Masitsa, the fire that might have been set up by a student left 100 form 1 and 2 students stranded however, no student was hurt during the incident.
Malava Sub County Director of Education Mr. Isaac Kipraisi indicated that the incident wasn’t just an accident, but must have been planned. However, he maintained that the school’s program will continue as usual even as Stakeholders meet to discuss how the affected students will be catered for.
The area MCA Leonard Kasaya urged the students to concentrate on matters Education and desist from distractors that can affect their Education Journey.
So far Kabras police have nabbed two boys believed to be the masterminds of the incidence and are helping them with investigation.
