Principal Secretary for Culture and Heritage, Umi Bashir has urged students from Diif in Wajir South Constituency, to fully embrace their educational opportunities, warning them not to squander the chance they have been given.
Speaking during an “Education Day” event in Diif sub County, Bashir, a vocal advocate for academic excellence, emphasized that education is a critical tool for personal and community transformation.
She urged the young learners to be diligent and make the most of the resources available to them. This call aligns with her consistent message to students in Wajir to shun exam malpractices and believe in their own abilities.
Furthermore, Bashir highlighted the government’s strong commitment to supporting the education sector. She acknowledged president Ruto’s prioritization of education, noting the provision of vehicles to education officials aimed at improving the management and oversight of schools.
