PS nominee for TVETs served as Embu County Secretary for hours

It is said that when grace finds you, it breaks protocals. Dr Esther Thaara Muhoria can readily testify to that.

Muhoria, who has been nominated PS State department of TVETs, was yesterday sworn in as Embu County Secretary after successfully being vetted by the county assembly.

She only served in that position for hours before receiving news of her nomination by President William Ruto.

Dr Muhoria is perceived to be very focused on matters education and leadership having served as a register at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

Her eloquence on administration and public service while being vetted moved the committee members, leading to her approval.

She promised to help Embu governor Cecily Mbarire deliver health services to locals and fight corruption.

“I will strive to fight corruption and bring back our county’s lost glory,” she said.

Talking about her nomination as PS, Dr Muhoria promised to ensure Technical Vocational Training Institutes are fully funded to enable learners acquire necessary skills for the job market.

“I will serve the country with dignity and dedication, I will push for full funding of TVETs,” she said.

Embu county residents celebrated the nomination saying she deserved the position because she is not new in matters education.

“From County Secretary to PS. Perfect example of how grace locates people,” Benson Kisilu posted on social media.

Another resident thanked president Ruto for the appointment, noting that Dr Muhoria will bring significant transformation in TVET institutions.
