Prof Njoka is credited for transforming the university into a world class institution within a span of 15 years.

“During my tenure, we ensured that there was proper management and utilization of resources and we were not indebted to any institution. My policy was that we should have zero tolerance to mismanagement of finances,” Prof Njoka said in an earlier interview.

He lauded the appointment and expressed his optimism that the new don will steer the university to greater heights.

The Professor called on all education stakeholders to support Prof. Mutembei unconditionally in order to ensure the university maintains it upward trajectory.
