Police in Chesumei sub-county, Nandi sub-county are conducting investigations into the abduction of the principal for Kapkechui Girls Secondary School in Chesumei constituency.
According to the area police boss (OCPD) Bosita Omukolongolo, the principal was kidnapped by unknown people along Kapkechui-Baraton road while she was going home from work in the evening after boarding a private vehicle.
“The Principal was heading to her home Chepterit when the vehicle arrived and people on board told her that they were heading to the same direction only to be drugged on boarding and dumped at Awasi in Kisumu County in unconscious.”
“We received reports from the DCI Kisumu that there was a person who had been dumped at Awasi area in unconscious and when we followed up the matter we found it to be the missing principal,” Omukolongolo said.
The police boss urged the public to be extra careful when boarding any vehicle for their safety as many of these people are con men or have ill motives.
She is currently receiving treatment at at Kapsabet county Referral Hospital
